Bundling individual products to set products become convenient when you want to rent out packages including different product types. A good example is ski set, which includes skis, boots and poles. As individual items skis, boots and poles have their own inventories and availabilities. As set products the availability of sets is calculated according to the lowest availability of a product included in the set.
Example: Your shop has 20 pairs of skis, 15 pairs of boots, and 50 pairs of poles in the stock. If these equipment are bundled into a set, the availability of sets is 15 based on the number of boots. Because when you run out of boots, you can't rent out the sets anymore although there are still skis and poles left.
Start creating a set product just like a normal product by going to the Products page using the main navigation and clicking New product button in the top right corner.
